Did you know?

The Portuguese Water Dog originated from the Algarve region of Portugal.  They were taught to herd fish into fishermen's nets and retrieve lost tackle or broken nets. And they also act as couriers from ship to ship or ship to shore.

Male adults range between 40-60 lbs

Female adults range from 33-49 lbs

Life expectancy: 12-15 years

Temperament: Intelligent, docile, brave and very obedient

Colors: Black, white, black & white, white & chocolate, brown
